Uniway, a leading provider of IT solutions, has announced a collaboration agreement with the Israeli firm Sygnia, recognized by Forbes as the ‘Delta Force’ of cybersecurity. This strategic alliance is designed to enhance cybersecurity in the Spanish market, offering comprehensive protection against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
Addressing the growing complexity of Cyber Threats
With the rise of cyber threats driven by global geopolitical tensions and the development of new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the nature of cyber-attacks has become more organized and complex. Hassan Kalantari, CEO of Uniway, stated: "Attackers are more organized and sophisticated, using tactics such as double extortion and targeting the supply chain. This poses a significant challenge for companies."
“Sygnia's 'know-how' is between two weeks and six months ahead of the market”, an interview with the leaders of Sygnia and Uniway, analyzing different aspects of the Partership alliance, has been published by Computerworld, see the full interview
A collaboration for complete protection
The agreement with Sygnia will enable Uniway to integrate Sygnia's Velocity MXDR technology, which offers threat and incident detection, monitoring, investigation, and response. This solution is complemented by the implementation and support of Uniway's professionals. "Sygnia is globally recognized for its incident response capabilities, working from the attacker’s perspective to detect and mitigate threats," said Kalantari.
Holistic protection phases
Yonatan Lipschitz, Director of Client Leadership EMEA at Sygnia, explained that the joint cybersecurity offering covers several key phases: prevention, preparation, simulation, detection and response. "Our philosophy is based on understanding the specific risks of each organization and preparing our clients to respond effectively in the event of an incident," said Lipschitz. Sygnia's Velocity technology enables advanced monitoring and rapid response to threats, using internally developed tools that integrate with more than 200 third-party solutions.
"Sygnia is very focused on cybersecurity, we do cybersecurity well and our philosophy is to stick to what we do well," said Yonatan Lipschitz, Director of Client Leadership EMEA at Sygnia.
Innovation and advanced technology
Artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in this alliance. "AI allows attackers to be faster and more efficient, but also gives us advanced tools to defend ourselves," explained Tom Sollel, vice president of Client Leadership EMEA at Sygnia. Sygnia uses AI in its Velocity platform to improve detection and response to cyber attacks, collaborating with leading companies like Nvidia to deliver innovative solutions in critical OT and IT environments.
A strong and reliable team
With more than 25 years of experience in the Spanish market, Uniway brings its technical capacity and deep knowledge to this collaboration. "Together, Uniway and Sygnia form a strong and complementary team, capable of providing top-level support to our customers," highlighted Kalantari. For his part, Sollel added: "The trust and collaboration between our teams allows us to offer a robust and effective final product to our clients in the Spanish market."
"The collaboration and rapport between our products, services and experience with Uniway's capabilities are complementary and provide a very good end product to customers, and we are seeing it on the ground. We are having a lot of success and it is something we want to continue with", said Tom Sollel, Vice President of Client Leadership EMEA at Sygnia.
This alliance between Uniway and Sygnia represents a significant step in strengthening cybersecurity in Spain. With a combination of advanced technology, experience and a holistic approach, both companies are prepared to meet the challenges of the current and future cyber landscape.
